I am a freelance SEO Consultant based on the Isle of Man (but offer a worldwide service) and have over 15 years experience in search engine optimisation, web design & internet marketing.

Being freelance allows me to keep my prices lower than what many poorly experienced companies charge for a second-rate service; i.e. it allows me to offer you a world class solution at the fraction it would normally cost to employ a top SEO company with comparable know-how.

After all, 85% of people use Google as their preferred search method and 95% of websites are never found. It is a 'no-brainer', increasing your search engine positions = more profit.

Why the name JOQL?
You will notice you can also access this site using the domain www.joql.com - It is not so much the name 'JOQL' but more about the domain name. Domain names represent a piece of internet real estate, once they are gone they are gone. In fact, it is now impossible to buy a four letter .com (e.g. JOQL.com) as all 457,000 permutations sold out worldwide in 2008. Therefore, something that cost me £5 to buy is now worth almost £200 and rising year on year. Five letter .coms are quickly following the same way and it just goes to show that when dealing with the internet you need to fully understand what you are doing. This is nothing to do with SEO, but an interesting answer to a question I am readily asked!
